Tarrant County 9-1-1 District is now offering CritiCall testing for call taker/dispatcher applicants free of charge to our member agencies. Guidelines and requests for applicant testing include:

• Testing is done in the E-Lab at the TC 9-1-1 District Offices 2600 Airport Freeway, Fort Worth, TX (corner of Airport Fwy. and Sylvania)
• Testing is offered by appointment only
• No more than 5 applicants may test at a time
• A representative from the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) must accompany applicants
• Applicants must have passed a criminal history check by the PSAP
• The PSAP representative will be briefed prior to testing on setting up and taking down the equipment
• PSAP representatives will receive a printout of the applicant's scores prior to leaving and are responsible for proper filing at their agency
• Agencies who have opted to participate in the DFW Area Hiring Pool will have applicants who pass with 75% or higher sign a waiver to have their name placed in the pool, in accordance with the Agency Agreement
