The City of Hurst, nestled between Dallas and Fort Worth, is inviting candidates to be considered for the position of Police Dispatcher. A Hurst Police Dispatcher dispatches police, fire and emergency calls, monitors and coordinates all public safety traffic, answers emergency phone calls and responds accordingly, and transmits, receives and relays teletype information.  The Police Communications Department strives for excellence through teamwork, following the City’s Code of Ideals.

The Police Dispatcher must be able to work all shifts; days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as may be scheduled.
