Dispatchers help ensure that citizens receive the best emergency communications and dispatch services by remaining calm, gathering and providing information, and assisting them as efficiently as possible.

For Full-Time Employees:

Health/Dental/Disability/Term Life benefits are paid at 100%, and you will be participating in the Texas Municipal Retirement System pension plan with a mandatory contribution of 7% with the city matching that contribution at a rate of 2:1 to grow your retirement nest egg.

Additionally, vacation and personal leave are available after six months of continuous service.
