NG9-1-1 Preparation TCOLE#5103

Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The purpose of this course is to provide resiliency tools for future technologies that could potentially be introduced to emergency communications centers. NG911 will present a number of unique challenges to 9-1-1 telecommunicators as they gain access to live video. This training discusses these challenges, how to bolster resilience during the transition, and how to respond to particularly distressing video calls. Suicide Intervention TCOLE #5307

Monday, September 11, 2023 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This course is designed to assist 911 First Responders in responding to suicidal callers. Learners will receive national data, suicide risk factors, and call-taking techniques. The course includes a guided presentation, awareness videos, and suicidal caller scenarios.
