PSAP Equipment and Services
The Operations team at the Tarrant County 9-1-1 District and AT&T implement and maintain the 9-1-1 equipment for our Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to avoid or quickly restore service interruptions. PSAPs within Tarrant County 9-1-1’s jurisdiction should contact the District office before implementing any of the following:
- Equipment move, disassemble, relocation, or reposition
- Facility moves
- Carpet or new furniture installations
- Planned electrical or construction work
- On-site UPS questions or issues or in the event of a commercial power loss longer than 30 minutes
This removes any liability from your department should one of your City employees handle Tarrant County 9-1-1 equipment and it does not work correctly.
